Alba Court House
The imagined client brief for Alba Court House asked for a minimal white home that could feel calm on ordinary days, welcome friends easily, and offer a private place to rest. We responded with a covered dining court between the kitchen and living room, a continuous pool terrace and an upper-floor primary suite. White plaster, pale stone and small touches of natural oak give the proposal clarity and warmth.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
A Calm White Home for Shared Life
To make hosting easy to understand, we arrange the kitchen to the west, dining at the centre, and living to the east. The central court forms a sheltered threshold beside the pool, linking meals and conversation to the terrace. A hall behind the social spaces connects the entry, stair and ground-floor guest rooms without making the dining table the only route through the house.
For privacy, the primary suite sits above the living wing. Its bedroom opens to a private balcony, with dressing and bathing spaces alongside it. The lower west wing and taller east volume preserve the stepped profile of the reference architecture. White walls unify the exterior; slim dark frames, pale limestone and limited oak details continue that identity indoors.

White Volumes, Warm Everyday Spaces
The gallery shows stepped white volumes around a covered dining court and pool terrace, followed by living, kitchen and private-room views. Pale limestone, natural oak and ivory textiles bring warmth to the minimal architecture. The suite plan, building plans, section and material board explain how the restrained palette supports the proposed layout.

Use Simplicity to Support Daily Routines
The imagined household wants fewer visual distractions and an easy place to gather around food. We place the covered dining court between the west kitchen and east living room, connecting meals and conversation with the pool terrace. A rear hall gives movement to the entry, stairs, and guest rooms a separate route.
To make the minimal home feel comfortable, white plaster forms a calm background for pale stone, limited oak details, and practical storage edges. The primary suite sits above the living wing with its own balcony, dressing area and bathroom. These choices let the client review simplicity and privacy as everyday experiences before developing the design for an actual site.
