Strata Terrace House
The imagined client brief for Strata Terrace House asked for a home where family gatherings could flow into the garden, concrete architecture could feel warm, and private rooms could offer a quieter end to the day. We responded with connected living and dining spaces beside stepped pool terraces, a restrained concrete-and-walnut palette, and an upper-floor primary suite with its own balcony.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Concrete Architecture with a Welcoming Interior
To connect family life with the garden, we arrange dining to the west, living at the centre and the kitchen to the east. Broad glazed openings face the pool terrace, while a hall behind these rooms connects the entry, stair, guest room and study. Layered outdoor platforms make space for different kinds of gathering, from a table with friends to a quieter poolside seat.
To separate shared and private routines, the primary suite occupies the upper east wing, with secondary bedrooms to the west and a family lounge between them. Rest, dressing and bathing sit together beside a private south balcony. Gray concrete and charcoal frames give the architecture a consistent outline; walnut, ivory upholstery and restrained bronze details bring warmth to the spaces people touch.
PROJECT GALLERY
Gathering Across Layered Terraces
The gallery pairs broad concrete volumes and stepped pool terraces with walnut interiors, ivory seating and bronze details. Dining, living and kitchen views show the shared floor; the upper suite introduces a quieter atmosphere. Material-shaded plans, a section and the sample board explain the proposed relationship between architectural strength and domestic warmth.
Strong Architecture. A Softer Way to Live.
Make room for lively gatherings and quiet moments. We help you design a home that balances bold character, personal warmth and a seamless connection to the outdoors.
DESIGN APPROACH
Bring Warmth to a Strong Architectural Frame
The imagined household wants gatherings to flow outdoors while concrete architecture feels welcoming inside. We connect west dining, central living and the east kitchen along the garden edge, with a rear hall supporting another route. Stepped terraces offer distinct places for a shared table, conversation and a quieter poolside pause.
Walnut, ivory upholstery and restrained bronze details soften the concrete frame where people sit, cook and move. The upper east primary suite brings sleep, dressing and bathing together beside a private balcony, apart from the busiest shared spaces. The concept gives the household a clear basis for discussing material character, privacy and outdoor life before detailed development.
